Lynn Minnaert
Lynn Minnaert is the Dean of the School of Hospitality at the Metropolitan State University of Denver. Her research interests include social tourism, family tourism, the social impacts of the Olympics and social legacy initiatives in the meetings industry. Her research has attracted funding by a range of organizations such as the Economic and Social Research Council, the European Union, the International Olympic Committee, regional tourist boards, and Meeting Professionals International. Prior to joining MSU Denver, she held teaching and leadership positions at Edinburgh Napier University, New York University, the University of Surrey, and the University of Westminster.

James Walsh
James Walsh is a Political Science Professor at the University of Colorado Denver, where he has taught for the past 29 years. Walsh specializes in the history and politics of labor, immigration, and the Irish Diaspora. Walsh is also the founder of the Romero Theater Troupe and the Colorado Labor Education Collaborative. His many years of research into the history of Irish immigrants in early Colorado led to the construction of the Leadville Irish Pauper Memorial in 2023.

Stephanie Felix-Sowy
Stephanie Felix-Sowy is the President of SEIU Local 105, the largest healthcare union in Colorado, uniting over 8,500 janitors, healthcare, airport, and security workers across the Mountain West. From Greeley, Colorado, and a graduate of Colorado State University, she has spent the last 18 years fighting to raise wages and standards for working families in Colorado and across the country.

Angeline McCall
Angeline McCallis is a nationally recognized reporter at 9NEWS, known for her bilingual storytelling on immigration and other issues that impact marginalized communities. She has been honored as a finalist for the prestigious DuPont-Columbia award and as a 2024 Reporter of the Year finalist with the National Press Photographers Association. Her work at 9NEWS has also covered politics, the housing crisis, environmental concerns and homelessness policy. Angeline is originally from Chicago and holds an undergraduate degree in journalism. Her career has included stops in North Dakota and Michigan, but Colorado has now been home for five years.

Lindsay Fallon
Lindsay se incorpora a Towards Justice tras obtener su maestría en la Escuela de Posgrado de Trabajo Social de la Universidad de Denver, donde se especializó en políticas públicas y liderazgo organizacional. Antes de cursar sus estudios de posgrado, Lindsay creó y dirigió una red de apoyo para exalumnos en una escuela charter de alto rendimiento en Washington D. C. En este puesto, colaboró con familias y organizaciones comunitarias para facilitar el acceso de los estudiantes a la educación superior. Previamente, se desempeñó como directora de programas en City Kids Wilderness Project, una organización que ofrece experiencias de aprendizaje al aire libre a jóvenes del área de Washington D. C. Lindsay se graduó en Colorado College, donde también trabajó como instructora de esquí. Al haberse criado en Japón, Lindsay aporta una perspectiva única a nuestra labor en Towards Justice.

Maribel Barbosa
Maribel Barbosa is a community leader, family educator, and advocate for families in the Roaring Fork Valley. Originally from Guanajuato, Mexico, she has lived in Carbondale, Colorado, for the past 26 years, where she has raised her family alongside her husband and four daughters. Maribel began her journey of service at Valley Settlement as a Family Educator for the Familias, Amigos y Vecinos (Families, Friends, and Neighbors) program, providing resources, training, and support to individuals caring for children in their homes. She also participated in the ALMA pilot program, receiving training as a peer support specialist to assist mothers experiencing postpartum depression through home visits and support based on cognitive-behavioral therapy. Subsequently, she worked as a community organizer with WE-cycle and the Roaring Fork Valley Workers' Center, fostering leadership within the Latino community and connecting families to resources and opportunities. Additionally, she has volunteered with LIFT-UP and SANA, supporting initiatives to distribute food and resources to local families. Maribel earned her GED in Colorado and her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, and she is currently studying Early Childhood Education at Colorado Mountain College. She also serves as chair of the Carbondale Latino Advisory Committee. She brings to the board a perspective rooted in years of community service, collaborative leadership, and a steadfast commitment to family well-being and the strengthening of a more inclusive community.

Daniela Bracho
Daniela Bracho is a member of El Centro; she considers herself a resilient, patient, and persevering person, capable of facing challenges and achieving the goals she sets for herself. Daniela has many dreams and aspirations that motivate her to continue growing both personally and professionally. Her family is the fundamental pillar of her life and represents her greatest source of inspiration and strength. Thanks to the support and opportunities provided by El Centro, Daniela has been able to expand her knowledge and develop academically; as a result of this effort, she obtained her Child Development Associate (CDA) certification in Colorado. She is committed to continuous learning and to building a future full of opportunities for her family.
